            A: Yes, the cheder is a growing chinuch-oriented school where students are nurtured to grow in their Torah learning and connection to HaShem!

Education

  • What schools and yeshivos are available for boys and girls
           A: The Cheder is for both boys and girls until 8th grade.

Housing & Location

  • Where do families usually live?
           A: Some families live on the famous Tikvah Way, a small developement built by the RCA with a special sidewalk with 36 units for teachers, Rabbis, Kollel yungerleit, etc. The rest of the community lives in the nearby neighborhoods- all a close walking radius.

  • Is housing within walking distance to shul and schools?
           A: Yes. The Yeshivos, Cheder, and CLY all share a campus.

Daily Life

  • Where do people shop for kosher food?
         A: There is no major kosher market in Morristown proper, but there are lots of grocery stores local. Nearby Kosher markets in Passaic, Livingston, Teaneck, etc.

  • How far is Morristown from Crown Heights, Ohel, or other major communities?
            A: Crown Heights: 1-1.5 hrs, Ohel: 1.5-2.5 hrs (Community trips are often organized), Monsey: 1 hr., Passaic: 35-35 min.
